Le projet « Ondulation », exploration de mondes intérieurs, servi par des compositions personnelles servant de véhicules à un univers d’ intelligence et de grâce, subtil, est éloigné des lieux communs : si le jeu de guitare d’ Hervé RENARD s’y révèle aussi bien habité par le jazz classique, que celui de la fusion, du funk ou encore du discours métissé…L’approche artistique inspirée par l’esthétisme du « Concept Lydien Chromatique » de George Russel, avec le désir de réaliser une musique large, ouverte, vibrante et magnétique, est conçue comme un voyage initiatique au sein de diverses contrées et paysages imaginaires, lieux dans lesquelles, couleurs, accents et épices se marient pour former un milieu parmi le flot des cultures d’Occident et d’Orient, entre ombres & lumières...

Le toucher de six-cordes est assez proche de celui de Allan HOLDSWORTH, évoquant par moments Carlos SANTANA & Georges BENSON ou encore Scott Henderson...
